We are going to be learning about the basics of HTML, what HTML is, whats the tags mean, text editors and then creating our first web page. I will start off by explaining what HTML is and the use of angle brackets around the keywords of the HTML language. How and when to use the opening and closing tags. We will then go through some viable and useful text editor options, free and paid versions for all operating systems. I have provided links below to all 5 that I showed in the video. We will be creating our first HTML web page and displaying it within a browser of choice. Building the basic structure, from html tags to head and body tags, then filling some of the head and body tags. The head tag will contain the title of the page but can also contain meta tags, css and sometimes javascript. The body tag will contain all visible content of the page and is used to hold all headings, paragraphs, links and images etc. If anyone wishes to have the source code or any of the files that I used within the tutorial, please let me know via PM and I will be happy to provide you with all the source code.
